The 9th book in the series, We’ll Meet Again, will finally bring the Ironbridge Saga and the Raven Hall saga together in one epic book to end not only the series, but also World War 2 itself.
The story continues immediately after the end of A Sister’s Hope in 1942. Rosina is at home at Raven Hall on the glorious North Yorkshire coastline. The hall, her family home for generations, is still a wartime maternity hospital, while Rosina is unexpectedly drawn into secret wartime espionage. Meanwhile, her son’s father – Harry, a RADAR expert and Pilot Officer in the RAF – is stuck in Singapore as the Japanese forces approach…
This final book in the 9-book saga will unite the two sagas via the character of Harry Woodvine. His ancestor – Anny Woodvine – started our story with The Daughters of Ironbridge in the 1830s. In the 5th book of the Ironbridge saga – The Suffragette of Ironbridge – we first meet Harry as Jo and Alfie’s baby. Harry comes back to the saga as a man in his twenties in the first Raven Hall book A Mother’s War. And now little Anny Woodvine’s distant relation Harry will be there to end the story that has spanned over a hundred years.
We’ll Meet Again will be out in April 2027 – keep an eye on online book retailers for a pre-order link coming soon…
